Reaction to the new border agreement between Canada and the United States announced Wednesday afternoon was swift. Shortly after Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and U.S. President Barack Obama held a press conference to announce the details of the anticipated border deal, professional observers and engaged citizens took to social media sites such as Twitter to express their thoughts and to share articles analyzing the agreement.

The Agenda took to Twitter to solicit reaction and to highlight comments made by journalists and analysts. My colleague Allison Buchan-Terrell collected those comments and put them in the list below. Many of them include links to articles analyzing and commenting on the deal. It's an interesting mix of expert opinion and ordinary citizens weighing in.
