Agenda Plus: Terry Reardon on Luck and Politics

by Eric Bombicino Wednesday August 7, 2013

Terry Reardon will be on the program over the next two nights to discuss his book, Winston Churchill and Mackenzie King: So Similar, So Different. Churchill and Mackenzie King worked together during the most important war in the history of the world, yet very little has been written about their 50-year relationship. We'll explore that relationship over the next two nights on The Agenda in the Summer.

Reardon stuck around after our broadcast interview to discuss the car accident that almost killed Churchill in 1931, and the role of luck in creating political success. Watch the video, above.

If you're interested in how the concept of luck can affect politics or economics, watch our interviews with philosopher Mark Kingwell and economist Robert Frank.
