Singing the news

by Mike Miner Friday April 24, 2009

One of the interesting things about the internet is how people treat it like a playground for the video and audio. Everything gets mashed up. If two celebrities go nuts in the same week or on the same scale, they'll usually get edited together (as I write this, somewhere someone is editing Billy Bob Thornton's weird radio meltdown into Christian Bale's on-set explosion at a lighting guy). Also, people just tend to put things to music.

Even the torture memo:

Certainly makes things easier to digest. I'm also really enjoying that application of autotuning to the news (autotuning is the software record producers and sound techs use to improve singing).

Every newscast can be a T-Pain video. If anybody here has the skills to do that to an episode of the Agenda, I'll try get your work on the air and take you to lunch.
