The “Remembering Iran’s Revolution” series examines the days leading up to and following the Iranian revolution.  In this episode, “The Price of Protest,” Marina Nemat, author of “Prisoner of Tehran” describes the violent changes the occurred in the country as a result of the Islamic Revolution.  Marina was 16 years old when she was arrested and sentenced to death for speaking out against the regime. She was eventually pardoned after agreeing to marry one her jailers.  She escaped to Canada in 1991.
