Every now and then, we have a guest on the program who really impresses because of a combination of intelligence, experience, and all of it at a tender age. Parag Khanna is one of those guests.

He's only 30 years old, and already, he's established himself as one of the most interesting, original thinkers on the geopolitical stage.

His new book, The Second World, outlines the direction he believes the world is headed in --- a direction the USA won't like but Khanna argues is essentially powerless to do anything about.

Khanna's view is that the days of America being the indispensable, singular, hyperpower in the world are coming to an end.

He sees three superpower blocs emerging: The European Union, China, and of course, the U.S.
